On appearance of chaos in flux of channeled helium ions

Description
Theoretical and experimental analysis of conditions of chaos appearance in the flux of channeling particles, which is described in the Fokker-Planck equations, is conducted. In the range of narrow angles of a charged particle beam incidence on a crystal the equation is plotted on the basis of the Langevin equation for a harmonic oscillator. The experiment was carried out using gallium arsenide crystal during helium ion channeling. Experimental results agree well with theoretical data
