Wave functions for deuteron capture reactions generated from scattering phase shifts

Description
Computer codes have been written to generate complex wavefunctions for the 2S2-, 2D2-, 0D2-, and 2G2- radial scattering waves (/sup S/L/sub J/ notation) using the separable Yamaguchi potential. Wavefunctions generated in this manner can be made to represent a range of low-energy scattering data and should correspond more closely to the physical situation than the wavefunctions generated by the previous method which used an optical model potential
