On calculation of electrical resistance, entropy and their temperature dependences for liquid iron, cobalt and nickel

Description

Electric conductivity and entropy of liquid Fe, Co and Ni are calculated using experimental structural factors and hard sphere model. Electroconductivity temperature coefficient is shown to be determined mainly by structural factor temperature changes.Satisfactory agreement between calculated entropy values and experimental data is noticed only when taking account of the electron component which contribution for 3d-metals is very appreciable
