Description
The authors report on a 31-year old female patient with recurrent renal colic since 1981 because of bilateral renal angiomyolipomas. The value of different diagnostic methods of imaging (ultrasonography, IVP, CT, angiography) with regard to the differential diagnosis and their probability of error are discussed. CT follow-up is recommended for all patients not subjected to surgical treatment. (orig.)
