On pion-production intensities in hadron-nucleus collisions

Description

Genuine multiplicity nπ distributions P(nπ) of pions produced in π-+Xe nuclear collision at 3.5 GeV/c momentum are presented for nπ+-0, nπ+- and nπ0. The multiplicities are excellently described by the negative binomial distributions (NBD). 9 refs., 3 figs., 3 tab
