Production of high multiplicity yrast isomers in 147Gd and 146Gd in α-particle induced reactions

Description
High spin isomers in 147Gd and 146Gd have been produced ind (α,xn) reactions, and their half-lives, excitation energies and maximum spins have been determined. It is proposed that these isomers are identical with those recently observed in bombardments with 50Ti and 40Ar projectiles. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
In 147Gd und 146Gd wurden isomere Zustaende mit hohen Spins durch (α,xn)-Reaktionen erzeugt und deren Halbwertszeiten, Anregungsenergien und Maximalspins bestimmt. Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass diese Isomere mit den vor kurzem nach Beschuss mit 50Ti und 40Ar beobachteten Zustaenden identisch sind. (orig.)Additional details
