X-ray spectra of the TVD tokamak plasma: time evolution

  • 1. RNTs Kurchatovskij Inst., Inst. Yadernogo Sinteza, Moscow (Russian Federation)

Description

Evolution of plasma X-ray emission was measured for the first time with up to 30 mks resolution using differential photoelectron spectrometer in TVD small tokamak. The obtained results cover the initial phase of discharge, ohmic heating, stationary phase, accelerating mode and essential breaking. Model of X-ray radiation of plasma describing spectral distributions of X-ray emission and its evolution within wide dynamic and energy ranges for all considered phases of the charge in the tokamak was developed. The effect of plasma different components, that is, thermal and accelerated electrons and neutrals on emission of impurities and spectra obtained for nonstationary phases of charge was studied
