K-Ar age of phlogopites of Aldan shield and its use in paleothermal reconstructions

Description
The study and comparison of K-Ar age of phlogopites from ores and near-ore metasomatites of magnetite and phlogopite magnesium-skarn deposits of the.Legrier-Timptonskij ore belt of the Aldan shield are made. 2 types of phlogopite have been investigated: large (up to 200 mm in the transverse direction and 20 mm thick) monocrystals and fine-scaly (the grain size is 1-3 mm) aggregates. A similarity in the age of monocrystals and fine-scaly aggregates of phlogopite is established
