On the calculation of biological shielding of transport channels for high-energy charged particles

Description

The role of various radiation sources (target, vacuum chamber, residual gas) in the high-energy charged particle beam transport systems is investigated. To calculate the beam channel shielding, simple formulae valid in the range of primary hadron energy of 1-70 GeV are received. Calculation results are compared with experimental data
