Description

We report a study of the interaction of 7.3-GeV deuterons with nuclei of niobium, terbium, lead, and bismuth. On the basis of the yield of γ rays of the nuclides produced we have determined the cross sections for production of residual product nuclei over a wide range of mass numbers: A = 24--92 for a target of 93Nb, A = 24--157 for a target of 159Tb, and A = 24--206 for targets of /sup 207.2/Pb and 209Bi. For the isotopes 86Y, 87Y, 93Tc, 94Tc, 104Ag, 133Ce, and 198Tl we have determined the isomeric ratios σ/sub m//σ/sub g/, which are compared with the isomeric ratios obtained in reactions induced by protons, α particles, and 12C ions
