Thermal conductivity of dimethyl formamide solutions of alkali metal iodides in temperature range 298-348 K

  • 1. Moskovskij Khimiko-Tekhnologicheskij Inst. (USSR)

Description

Thermal conductivity coefficients of NaI, KI and CsI solutions in dimethylformamide are determined in a wide range of concentrations at temperatures of 298.15, 323.15 and 348.15 K. With the temperature increase a tendency to leveling in thermal conductivity of different salt solutions is observed. In the temperature range of 323-348 K the dependence of thermal conductivity of dimethylformamide solutions on temperature remains the same as for the solvent itself. Decrease of thermal conductivity of solutions during heating is higher than for the solvent, which is determined by the effect of the electrolyte dissolved
