Study on the chromogenic reaction of thorium with H-acid schiff alkali

Description
A new method of determining thorium is studied. The optimization conditions for the reaction of thorium with H-acid schiff alkali are investigated. The complex maximum absorption is at 560 nm, and the apparent molar absorption coefficient is 9.28 x 104 L·mol·cm-1. The method is applied to determination of Th in standard samples with satisfactory results
