Description

Different effects of pulsed loads on supply network are examined, voltage fluctuations, harmonics and changes of voltage phase angle as well as dynamic effects on generators e.g. changes of rotor angle and generator load as well as frequency fluctuation amplitude. Results of computer calculations on single and repetitive pulse effects are given. Outlook on limits of the maximum pulsed load directly connectable to high voltage networks. (author)
