Absence of emission and absorption lines in the spectrum of OJ 287

Description

Spectroscopic observations of OJ287 were made in February and March, 1974, when this object was supposed to be in the least luminous phase. Neither intrinsic emission lines with equivalent widths wider than -- 1A nor absorption lines could be found. (auth.)
