Extending the applications of ordered packings of high performance

Description
Research in the field of heavy water production have implied realization of performing contact elements as for instance ordered packings of type B7, destined to concentration and re-concentration of heavy water. The functional characteristics of these packings allow their utilization in processes of distillation separation of multicomponent mixtures. The cryogenic distillation of hydrogen isotopes and obtaining argon from the ternary nitrogen-argon-oxygen mixture is mentioned. Also, by distillation on ordered packings, the purification of chloroform and methanol from raw synthesis products has been realized. Ordered packings are recommended as well as contact elements in absorption-desorption processes, for liquid-liquid extraction processes and as elements of liquid gas thermal contact
