Description
An indigenous diffractometer, its electronic control/software and related x-ray optics like solar-collimators, slits and graphite analyzer have been locally designed and fabricated. Its performance has been checked by collecting powder x-ray diffraction patterns from various samples and by doing specular reflectivity from quartz and silicon surfaces. Quantitative comparison between the fabricated and a commercial goniometer has made. (author)
