Near real time accountancy and EURATOM safeguards

Description

The principles and some of the implementation features of a new approach to inventory verification are introduced for international safeguards. The approach is based on having sequential partial inventory verification combined with a real time accountancy system. Provided certain conditions can be met, this permits independent inventory verification without total plant shutdown. 9 refs
