Iron impurity EPR line width and intensity in nonstoichiometric LiNbO3 crystals
- 1. AN Ukrainskoj SSR, Kiev. Inst. Problem Materialovedeniya
Description
Iron group impurity EPR spectra were measured in lithium niobate crystals with a different ratio of lithium and niobium ions. Increase of line width and forbidden transition intensity in crystals with decreasing Li content is attributed to the presence of lithium and oxygen vacancies. The EPR line asymmetry nature was elucidated in magnetic field orientation along the c crystal axis. Dependence of defect concentrations in a crystal on charge composition was obtained
