Method of acceleration mode control in a multisectional linear accelerator and a device for this method realization

The aim of invention is accuracy improvement and acceleration regime tuning procedures simplification in a multi-sectional linear accelerator. The tuning method consists in beam passage through bunching and accelerating sections and in phasing of these sections. With given values of current and microwave power the acoustic oscillations amplitude is measured in each accelerating section element and with achievement of amplitude minimal value phasing is stopped.
