Description

The anomalies found in the cross section of the D(γ,pπ-)p reaction are explained by a contamination of muons in the pion spectra. The cross section for high momentum values and fixed angle of the undetected nucleon is in good agreement with a simple model which can not explain the shape of the angular distribution

Abstract (French)

Les anomalies trouvees dans la section efficace de la reaction D(γ,pπ-)p sont expliquees par une contamination de muons dans le spectre de pions. La section efficace pour les grandes valeurs de l'impulsion et un angle fixe du nucleon non detecte est en bon accord avec un modele simple qui n'explique pas la forme de la distribution angulaire
