Gauge fixing of open bosonic string field theory action of Neveu and West
Description
Gauge fixing of the gauge-invariant actions which are proposed by Neveu and West for interactiong point particle and interacting open bosonic string field theories are performed by making use of the Batalin-Vilkovisky approach. The resultant point particle action is found to be the proposed Osp(d, 2/2) invariant action. Interacting open strings leads to the proposed action which has Osp (26, 2/2) invariance in the zero modes up to order g because only the three-string interaction vertex has been taken into consideration
