HEAD NECK. Detection of cortical lesions with different MRI sequences

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is often associated with cortical lesions, but these can only be visualised to a limited extent using conventional MRI methods. Müller and his colleagues compared 3 different MRI techniques and found that a combination of FLAWS and FLAWS can provide more information than the MP2RAGE sequence.
