Description
The aim of the paper is to elaborate procedure to evaluate strength of steel container body when carrying radioactive substances and materials. One studies the most dangerous case of container fall on a solid plane surface or on a circular steel bar. One studies brittle and quasi-static fracture that may result in loss of the carried radioactive material. Paper presents the calculation results from two points of view: integrity of carried radioactive structure components and fracture of a container body material

Цель работы - разработка методики оценки прочности корпуса стальных контейнеров при перевозке радиоактивных веществ. Рассматривается наиболее опасный случай падения контейнера на твердую плоскую поверхность или на круглый стальной стержень. Исследуются хрупкое и квазистатическое разрушения, которые могут приводить к потере перевозимого радиоактивного вещества. Представлены результаты расчетов с двух точек зрения: сохранение прочности перевозимых радиоактивных конструктивных элементов и разрушение материала корпуса контейнераAdditional details
