Electrical and photoelectrical properties of lithium intercalated TlInSe2 crystals

Description

Preliminary results of TlInSe2 crystals intercalation are reported. It is shown that as a result of lithium intercalation spectral characteristics of TlInSe2 monocrystals suffered substantial changes: photosensitivity spectrum broadened and its maximum shifted to shorter wave spectrum region where a series of new structures appeared. The cause of observed changes hides probably in partial removal of degeneration in the course of intercalation owing to elimination of overlapping wave functions of carriers of neighbour quasi-one-dimensional chains
