φ meson photoproduction with linearly polarized photons at spring-8
Description
Photoproduction of φ-meson near threshold with linearly-polarized photons gives access to observables which are sensitive to the nature of the production mechanism. It gives unique information about the structure of the diffractive amplitude and the role of exotic components such as glueball and scalar-meson exchanges. Preliminary results on φ-meson photoproduction are presented. (author)
