Description
An investigation has been made into the effect of repeated deformation on structure and flow stress in difficult-to-work heat-resisting nickel alloys types EhP975ID and EhP741NP. It was found out that repeated deformation of castings within the range of 1100-1150 deg C did not change the structure produced by preliminary deformation. Repeated deformation of compacted billets promotes more intense recrystallization with smaller gamma-phase grains compared to those in cast billets
