Revival of vigour for the worldwide energy demand
Creators
Description
According to the new edition of the BP Statistical Review of World Energy, the year 1995 shows a 1.8% increase of the worldwide energy consumption, which represents more than twice the mean annual growth rhythm of the past five years. This growth has been considerably influenced by a slow down of the energy consumption drop in the ex-USSR countries. This short paper gives a brief worldwide statement of the energy demand and evolution, of the petroleum consumption, production and reserves and of the natural gas, coal, hydropower and nuclear energy consumption.
