Description

Calculations using the constituent quark model of electromagnetic and strong form factors for transitions between nucleons and their excited states are described. Electromagnetic form factors are calculated using a relativistic model based on light-cone dynamics, fit to proton and neutron elastic form factors. Strong form factors are calculated using a non-relativistic pair-creation model developed to describe excited baryon strong decay coupling constants
