Establishment of simulated mammography radiation qualities at the BIPM
Description
New radiation qualities have been established at the BIPM using the tungsten-anode low-energy x-ray tube with molybdenum and rhodium as filters to simulate the radiation beams used in clinical mammography. The evaluation of the correction factors for the primary standard and the measurements of the x-ray spectra are described. (authors)
