Description

The annual report gives a summary overview of key research and development activities at the Belgian nuclear research center SCK CEN in 2022. The report discusses progress and main achievements in the following areas: commercialisation of lead-cooled small modular reactors security and physical protection, the production of medical radioisotopes, dosimetry and radiation protection, radioactive waste management and the decommissioning of nuclear facilities, radioisotopes and the treatment of cancer, particle accelerators, materials research, space applications and fusion research.
