Description
Recent work on the use of incore neutron analysis as an effective method of detecting and monitoring boiling rate in operating PWRs is discussed. A method of measuring the boiling rate in the area around an incore neutron detector is described. Experimental investigations were carried out on operating PWRs and the IRENE loop set in the OSIRIS reactor at Saclay, France. (U.K.)
