High chromium steels in boiler construction
Creators
Description
Review of high chromium steels applied in boiler construction abroad and in the USSR is made. Prospects of applying new martensitic-ferritic 10Kh9MFB-Sh steel which exceeds 1.5 time 12Kh1MF steel, normally used for boilers and steam pipelines, by strength and is characterized by a higher scale resisrance are indicated. It is recomended to use 10Kh9MFB-Sh steel at the temperatures of up to 600 deg C
