Description
Works on improvement of designed earlier and consumption of new high-current betatrons have been carried out at the Tomsk Polytechnical Institute for last several years. Special attention has ben paid to increase of accelerator specific characteristics: decrease of their weight and sizes, increase of reliability and irradiation dose rate at the output. It has been reached due to application of the packaged design of the betatron electromagnet, joining of such elements as an electron gun and a pulse transformer into a single assembly, increase of the injection energy and the acceleration repetition rate. Main 25, 30 and 50 MeV betatron performances are given
