Research reactor fuel cycle
Description
1) The Back-end of the Research Reactor Fuel Cycle remains the cause of great concern. 2) Cogema, France decided not to enter the market for reprocessing. 3) UK's AEA intends to phase out reprocessing in 1994 if a relatively high throughput cannot be guaranteed. 4) The current perspectives are relatively poor. 5) That's why most of the operators of Research Reactors are focusing again on US-DOE's progress in renewing its 'Off-Site Fuels Policy'.
