On the physical conditions in NGC 6888 and S 308 nebulae

Description

On the basis of the model of a hollow radiating sphere the parameters are calculated of annular nebulae associated with the stars WR:NGC 6888 (antiNsub(e) = 36.3 cm sup(-3), M = 176, Msub(Sun), t = 5 x 104 years, V = 57 km/sec) and S 308 (antiN = 6.5 cmsup(-3), M = 150 Msub(Sun), t = 7 x 104 years, V = 62 km/sec). A tendency is observed toward a reduction in the mass of annular nebulae with increasing galactic latitude. This would be expected since the gas density fall off with an increase in z-coordinate
