Complex space--times with null strings
Creators
Description
Taking as a starting point the definition of surfaces as intersections of u(x/sup μ/) = constant, v(x/sup μ/) = constant, and thought of as the congruence of null strings, i.e., assuming only the complex Einstein vacuum equations in V4 and the conformal curvature at least minimally degenerate from one side, the Einstein equations are integrated in all remaining generality. Success in this task is reported. 11 references
