Effect of temperature on the radiolysis of CH4 and CH4 /plus/ H2O gas mixtures
Creators
Description
We studied the hydrogen formation kinetics in the radiolysis of CH4 and gas-phase CH4 /plus/ H2O mixtures in the temperature range 333-773 K under the effect of 60Co γ radiation. In the studied temperature range, an increase of the methane content led to an increase of the radiation-chemical yield of hydrogen. In all cases, in the radiolysis of CH4 /plus/ H2O mixtures, the values of the radiation-chemical yield of hydrogen was less than in the radiolysis of CH4
