Nucleon decay channels in electromagnetic reactions of light nuclei at low momentum transfer
Description
The nuclear responses in /sup 12/C(e,e') at q=300, 400 MeV/c and /sup 16/O(e,e') at 98 ≤ q ≤ 244 MeV/c are discussed in the frame of a self-consistent RPA theory. The excitation of the GMR and the QEP is inferred from the same nuclear description. The modification of the (e,e'p) knockout process arising from RPA correlations is investigated and related to the predictions in the (e,e'n) decay channels
