Support and financial aid for methanization projects in France. General principles of Ademe's support for anaerobic digestion

Club Biogaz has compiled a list of organizations that provide expertise and/or funding for projects in the field. Part 1 is a generic guide to the structures to contact, presenting how the grants work (rates, eligible equipment, how to combine grants, etc.). The structures supporting the projects requires the project owner to follow a training course for the management of the methanization unit. Part 2 is a table detailing, by region, the structures (Ademe, Regions, Departments, local investment funds, energy agencies, etc.) and types of aid (support for project developers, subsidies, repayable advances, capital contributions, calls for projects, etc.). Part 3 presents the general principles of Ademe's support schemes. The note refers to various recent documents and interventions: 'Fonds Chaleur' documents and assessment, Comite National biogaz' and 'Codir de l'ATEE - Club Biogaz'. It supplements the information in the first part with recent data (2016) and those in the table in part 2 detailing structures and their support by region
