Quark-lepton non-universality in supersymmetric models
- 1. Ecole Normale Superieure, 75 - Paris (France). Lab. de Physique Theorique
Description
We calculate the corrections to quark-lepton universality arising from the exchange of supersymmetric particles. In a range of mass values compatible with production experiments, we find sizable effects larger than the present uncertainty on Gsub(β). Our results are, in particular, relevant to the interpretation of the CERN jthsub(T) events as due to the production of scalar quarks. Depending on the value of the lighter W tilde-ino mass, an effect of non-universality should have shown up or it must be hiding at the level of the present uncertainty on Gsub(β). (orig.)
