Description
Using chemical foam decontamination technique, decontaminating experiments on simulant contaminated samples of reprocessing plant were carried out. Results show that ceric sulfate foam has excellent decontamination effect, DF (stainless steel) = 12.39-24.08, DF (carbon steel) = 3.62-5.14; for oxalic acid foam, DF (stainless steel) = 8.87-14.34, DF (carbon steel) = 6.57-8.40, at room temperature. It is believed that these acid foams can be applied in decontamination of nuclear facilities with large volume, complex form and fold rust. The test gives a great evidence for engineering-scale test
