Outline of the global mosaic of public opinion towards nuclear
Description
In European union two countries are the two extremes: France where the public approves long-term development and Germany, where public opinion would get rid of it. The usa opinion change towards nuclear energy but the question of radioactive waste disposal hinders this progress. Concerning Asia, public opinion in Japan is rather suspicious while in India and China, public opinion is rather passive. The acceptance of nuclear by populations go through a safety control and thus a better protection of people and the environment. (N.C.)
