Supernova remnants and presupernova models

Creators

Description

Preliminary models of stellar evolution and neutron-star formation, taken with simple models of the Crab Nebula and its pulsar, and of Cas A, can give a coherent picture of the origin of these objects. Energetics, abundances of elements in the nebulae, and characteristics of the neutron star are examined.
