Description

It was shown on the basis of the experimental data and theoretical analysis that the efficiency of the HF/VLF transformation is determined by the time scale of the electron temperature saturation and it is the function of the emitter frequency and also of the electron density ionospheric profile. This corresponds to the frequencies in the area from 2 up to 4 kHz. Various ways of the efficiency optimization for the planned emitter modification up to the rated capacity of 3.6 MW are discussed
