Description

Use of the microscopic fungus Aspergillus niger in the mobilization of iron from a mixture of aluminosilicates Procedures of processing of raw materials due to microbial activity resp. due to the metabolic products of microorganisms have gained considerable attention in recent years. The main reason is the low production of toxic waste and low cost. Therefore, in this work the authors decided to evaluate the possibility of using the microscopic fibrous fungus Aspergillus niger as a potential method for removing iron staining from a mixture of aluminosilicate minerals, as a potential substitute for titanium dioxide in paints.
