Challenge for exportation of Chinese nuclear energy

Chashma nuclear power station is a successful example for China's introduction of nuclear power into the world despite the difficulties such as harsh natural conditions and anti-terrorism situation, huge gaps in culture, backward infrastructure and shortage of electric power in the host country of the project as well as poor competence of local labors. The construction of Chashma NPP draws much attention from government and the public with high level of participation. Confronted with the challenge, CZEC creates the top-down design and management mode, constructs quality management system and harmonious public relations, overcoming difficulties, placing top priority on quality control and keeping schedule under control. Therefore, a reliable NPP is built for the Pakistani people and put into service timely. With the introduction of nuclear power into the world as one of the national strategies and HPR as the exemplary reactor of the third generation of PWR, we shall draw lessons from Chashma in safe movements of personnel, respecting and learning local culture, and management of labors, quality and progress to guarantee completion of ACP1000.
