Gamma-radiation of plastics and the possible uses of these in agriculture
Description
In this article the gamma-radiation of plastics and its possible uses in agriculture is discussed. The fundamentals of gamma crosslinking are also mentioned. The applications of gamma radiation modified plastics in the agricultural field are very wide, including the following: windmill parts, solar heating, green house sheating, seed packets, heat shrink tube and joints, latex rubber teats, impregnation of leather, wood plastics and extensometers
