Stabilized solid solutions on the base of complex oxide rare earth compounds of Ln14(GeO4)2(BO3)6O8 type

Description
Congruently melting solid solutions, containing up to 8.5 atoms La for a stoichiometric formula of the compound, and also Eu, Gd, Lu are obtained on the basis of incongruently melting compounds, Ln14(GeO4)2(BO3)6O8 (Ln=Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd). It is supposed that La in the solid solution structure occupies and stabilizes atoms positions of melting with CN10,9 and L 8 and Lu with CN6
