Description
Changes taking place in InF3 powder, contacting with the air during 10 years, are described. Method of X-ray phase analysis was used to show that slow hydration of indium trifluoride results to formation of intermediate phase and trihydrate InF3 · 3H2O. InOHF2 phase was revealed. This testifies to very slow hydrolysis proceeding even at room temperature. 10 refs., 1 fig
