CERN cavity at PETRA successful test

Description
On February 16, 1983 a superconducting cavity built at CERN was installed in the tunnel of the PETRA storage ring at DESY. At the end of the January-March shut down of PETRA, the cavity was well set up and ready to demonstrate its performance in the presence of stored beams. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Ein bei CERN gebauter supraleitender Resonator wurde am 16. Februar 1983 am Speicherring PETRA eingebaut. Ende Maerz wurde der Speicherring nach dem Winter-Shut-Down wieder in Betrieb genommen. Bis dahin war der CERN-Resonator auch betriebsfaehig eingerichtet. (orig.)Additional details
